Best Tuesday burger special there is! Great burger 3 plus toppings. Hand made burgers. Generous portions, awesome cook, great bartender. Small so not a lot of seating, so get there early.
Chicken strips were good! Burger and fries were hot and tasty as well!
Delicious food and fantastic environment. We went there this past Wednesday and it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. I ordered the breakfast melt, which was outstanding. The server, never caught his name, was very engaging and so full of energy. Would definitely recommend to anyone asking and would go back.
I’ve known Dan the owner for a while I drank at the bar when he worked as the bartender at Billy’s. He took over ownership of this bar from when it was beer bellies and it’s a-lot better now. The mural on the front dressed it up but it’s still is a true dive bar. With good cheap priced burgers. It’s a somewhat smaller place but cozy and fun. I don’t drink anymore but I just want to say Dan is outstanding. I’ve seen him diffuse a lot of situations. He’s extremely patient and calm honestly I don’t know how he does it handling people when they’re too drunk especially when they get out of control but he’s awesome and handles it with grace. He’s always been one of my fav people I met in downtown anoka. I’m so happy he bought this place and turned it into a much better establishment. I don’t really drop by much anymore because I moved but I just want people to know. Dan is so kind hearted really cares about the people he’s serving. I just really hope you are lucky enough to meet him. He never drinks at his bar either I’ve never seen him have a drink before. The owners in the past would always be drinking at the bar. Honestly the previous owner creeped me out. They made the waitresses dress trashy and degrade them. There is a lot more to that but we’d be here for a while. Anyways can’t say enough good things about this place and how he’s turned it around.
Umm... The burgers and fries here are FANTASTIC! Made to order, that includes the fries that come hot and crisp out of the fryer. If you sit at the bar you can watch the chef in action. The bartenders we've met are friendly and fun. I'm craving a burger again... ...
Average bar in Anoka with delicious cheeseburger basket deal on Tuesdays - 3. Wolfed everything down before realizing I should've taken a picture. Crinkle fries that are crispy, not soggy. Pleasant surprise tucked in along Main street.
This is my new favorite place on all criteria... the food, the drinks, the atmosphere... the biggest point however are the owner and the staff... Nowhere Ever have I felt more welcome! This was my first time, and from the very first interaction I felt not only as a regular, but as a VIP regular! Definitely coming back and strongly recommend! The DJ and the music kept the mood up, and overall great experience!
Greatest little dive bar with good food/specials and the greatest staff and regular customers. My regular go-to for happy hour!
